Twenty years ago, a small group of wine lovers planted their first vines on the Upper Bench in Keremeos, betting that the wild, windswept Similkameen Valley could produce something special.
They were right.
Two decades later, Clos du Soleil is proud to be one of BC’s most respected wineries – and we’re celebrating our 20th anniversary by bringing together three of our wines with three specially commissioned recipes designed to make each one shine.

We partnered with Chef Steve Stewart of The Best Ever Guide to create three dishes specifically for three Clos du Soleil wines: Capella 2025, Fumé Blanc 2025 and Syrah 2022.
Chef Steve approached each pairing with the wine first, creating dishes that complement its character, texture and flavour.
Capella 2025 × Ricotta Stuffed Shells
Our Capella 2025 is paired with ricotta stuffed shells, Capella béchamel sauce and grilled peaches – a soft, rich and gently sweet combination designed to sit beautifully alongside the wine’s structure.

Bright, briny crab cakes with lemon aioli are the perfect match for Fumé Blanc 2025. The freshness of the dish plays beautifully with the wine’s lively acidity, making this a pairing that feels made for a long summer evening.
