For the first time ever, Clos du Soleil is thrilled to be participating in the Vancouver International Wine Festival!
The wine world comes to Vancouver for Canada’s premier wine show. The Vancouver International Wine Festival is one of the biggest and oldest wine events in the world, offering something for every level of wine drinker, collector and trade professional. In 2020, winery principals (winemaker, proprietor, senior executive) representing 163 wineries from 16 countries will travel to Vancouver to pour and discuss their wines at 57 events over eight days.
Clos du Soleil Event Participation: Clos du Soleil will be poured at a variety of events over the course of the Festival. Find us at:
- International Festival Tasting. The Tasting Room at the Vancouver Convention Centre is the heart of the festival, where all 163 participating wineries and their principals gather to pour their select wines. Clos du Soleil will be present Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 7pm-10pm, as well as Saturday afternoon 2.30pm-5pm, where we will be pouring Clos du Soleil Fumé Blanc 2018, Célestiale 2015, Capella 2017, Signature 2015, and Estate Reserve Red 2014. A handful of tickets still available for Thursday and Friday.
- The Global Cru, Saturday Feb 29, 5.15pm-6.45pm. While the term “Cru” is most often used for the French classification system, the “Cru” concept can apply to any vineyard or group of vineyards recognized for their superior quality. This seminar will take participants on a global journey to some of the wine world’s greatest vineyards to discover what makes their terroir and wines so special.
