This could be a classic wine from Bordeaux

An impressive effort
Daenna van Mulligen

Inspired by the traditional barrel-fermented white wine from the Bordeaux region, our Fumé Blanc is a classic old-world styled white with a new world taste. It opens up on a sweet note of pineapple, vanilla and toast, followed by hints of citrus, orchard apple, honey-comb and the classic mineral touch. In the mouth it is clean, smooth and exhibits a nice balance between bright acidity, oak nuances, and residual sweetness. It finishes long with a slight grassy note from the Sauvignon Blanc grape that is both refreshing and satisfying. Sold out BC & AB; available ON.

The Sauvignon Blanc grapes for this Select Late Harvest delicacy were intentionally picked overripe in the cold of November. Inspired by the great dessert wine tradition of the Sauternes region of the Bordeaux, this wine exhibits a lovely pale golden hue in the glass. Enticing aromas of ripe pineapple, apricot, honey and citrus rind are followed by a long, hypnotic finish adding toffee and a suggestion of fresh sage. This luscious, balanced creation will pair nicely with foie-gras, creamy blue cheese or a delicate dessert

Daenna Van Mulligen Wine Diva - There is some impressive power in this
Similkameen white (as there was with the 2008) - aromas of vanilla, honeycomb, white nectarine and
guava, sweet herbs and citrus with fine floral notes. The palate is quite rich, the weight creamy and
it has a potent, citrus and spiced finish.

This juicy and fruit-forward Bordeaux-style red has a Canadian twist of Cabernet Franc and Merlot dominance. It was matured for 18 months in French oak which gives it a glimmer of spice. It softly opens up to bright notes of strawberry, raspberry, sweet red cherries and hints of coffee and chocolate. In the mouth it's juicy, almost refreshing, and is nicely framed by just the right amount of well integrated tannins and weight. There is great balance and a long finish.

The use of all 5 red Bordeaux varietals and maturation for 18 months in French oak before bottling without fining or filtering gives this wine great complexity. It greets the nose with vibrant strawberries and blackberry with hints of sandalwood and spice. As it opens dark cherries, plums and soft hints of caramel, espresso and chocolate come into play. When first tasted, the fresh fruit is echoed on a soft tannin base. After decanting, a balanced yet solid tannin structure frames the fruit and the aromas intensify. This wine shows promising longevity in the cellar. Available in 750ml, 1.5l, 3l & 6l Format.

Daenna Van Mulligen Wine Diva - Made mostly of Merlot with 26% Cabernet
Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc and 9% Malbec, it is aged in one-half new French and American Oak. Aromas
of black fruit, smoke and char, roasted bell peppers and dried herbs with licorice and peppery spices.
Good concentration on the palate - sweet, juicy fruit is layered with toasted oak and cigarbox flavours.
A nicely constructed wine with good balance.

John Schreiner - Clos du Soleil Pinot Blanc 2010 begins with aromas of
lime and apples. On the palate, the tangy, fresh flavours recall sweet tasting Ambrosia apples. The
finish is reasonably dry yet with a honeyed ripeness. The wine has good weight and, with bright
acidity, a refreshing character.

Daenna Van Mulligen Wine Diva - Made of 95% Sauvignon Blanc
and 5% Semillon this very impressive white blend smells of honeycomb and figs, snap peas
and honeydew melon, exotic blossoms and sweet almond oil. Lively and fresh on the palate
- primary flavours of citrus peel and honey with a mineral seam. It has a nice roundness
to the texture with impressive concentration and complexity.

Daenna Van Mulligen Wine Diva - One of British Columbia's newest
offerings, Clos Du Soleil, is an impressive effort between ex-Canadian Navy officer Spencer Massie,
Lawrence and Sharon Herder (Similkameen Valley's Herder Winery) and with next vintage the consulting
expertise of winemaker Ann Sperling of Malivoire in Niagara. The "white" is a Sauvignon Blanc 95%
Semillon) with aromas of Meyer lemon and creamy meringue, melon with a sprinkle of spice, caramel
and marzipan. It's elegant and fresh on the palate with ample citrus peel and hints of toast with
spice lingering on the finish

Daenna Van Mulligen Wine Diva - An exceptional and elegant offering
from one of BC's newest wineries. A Meritage blend (60/22/18) of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and
Cabernet Franc it presents bright red fruit and leather, crushed flowers and herbs with cedarbox
notes. It is very stylish on the palate, medium to full-bodied with a fine grained texture and plenty
of juicy fruit. The production on the 2007 vintage is limited to 450 cases, so grab a couple when you
see it!

John Schreiner - The winery produced 150 six-bottle cases of this wine,
which is 100% Sauvignon Blanc. This is one of two white varieties, the other being Sémillon, that were
planted in the estate vineyard last year. This wine has a lovely core of sweet fruit framed by minerals.
The flavours are peachy, a touch tropical with a hint of gooseberry. The finish is dry.

John Schreiner - The winery produced 185 six-bottle cases of this wine.
It is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Franc. The vineyard includes these
three varieties. This elegant wine tastes like something that one might encounter will running the Medoc
marathon. The texture is firm and age worthy. On the palate, there are flavours of red berries, plum,
cedar, chocolate, with a hint of vanilla on the nose. Still a young wine for this style, it benefits
from decanting.
